We are looking for you as a Asset Management Lead (f/m/x) for an upcoming project of DB International Operations in Canada.
Join us to develop the future of North American rail travel and create a unique lighthouse project. The project on the East Coast entails developing operation and maintenance of a new railway corridor to enhance public transport in the region. We are looking for transport and mobility enthusiasts with long-standing experience in railway operations and projects in Canada or worldwide to be part of this unique project in case of contract award.
Your Tasks:
- Managing and directing all Fixed Asset Management services, leading the entire department Asset Management.
- Assuring staff quantities and skills are appropriate to demand at any time.
- Developing, refining and submitting the Asset Management Policy, the Asset Hierarchy, the Asset Inventory, the Asset Management Strategy and the final Asset Management Plan.
- Developing, establishing and having an effective Asset Management IT System in place at take-over of Operation & Maintenance (O&M) responsibility.
- Timely coordination of different maintenance workstreams and departments, such as Rolling Stock, Signaling, Track, Structures & Civils, Facility, etc.
- Providing strategic leadership and technical expertise to ensure effective Asset Management and maintenance unfolds in future operation phase.
- Providing the O&M interface function to consortional partners and construction companies.
- Ensuring the continuous improvement process in Asset Management and Maintenance.
- Participating to all related meetings and appointments at O&M, consortional and authority level.
- Ensuring timely submission of Co-Development Phase O&M deliverables.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 15 years of experience in operations & maintenance of railroad assets and all related systems; minimum of 10 Years of experience in Asset Management.
- Strong leadership and change management expertise.
- Interpersonal and oral / written / presentation communication skills.
- Willingness to work in a complex project, providing new ideas and facilitating collaboration and cooperation between diverse stakeholders to deal with construction and complex engineering issues.
- Knowledge of the principles of accountability and risk management.
- Possesses a valid Ontario and / or Québec driver’s license.
- Fluent in English, including writing and presenting information in the appropriate formats to various stakeholders. French is a plus.
