What you will be doing
- Responsible for the planning and organizing of the unloading of all Aero's import from the UK and Europe to Ireland.
- Maximize load capacity and schedule and organize drivers and vehicles efficiently to maintain and develop current profit margins.
- Create, maintain and forward where necessary all administrative records for cargo importing to Ireland using our in-house computer system.
- Fulfil customer demands which can be very testing and changeable
- Communicate directly with customers, suppliers and work collaboratively all other internal departments
- Flexibility required due to the ever-changing demands of the transport industry and ensure customer expectations are met or exceeded.
- Good geographical knowledge of Ireland, the UK and Europe
- A patient and considered approach to work in order to manage a dynamic, variable and changing workload
- Be able to manage and prioritize workloads in periods of heavy demand
About You
- Previous airfreight import experience desirable.
- Customer focus, Willingness to learn, Effective communicator, Ability to multi – task , Committed to quality
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Minimum GCSE standard in English and Maths (or equivalent) essential.
- Basic level of word and Excel
