Job description

Shifts 4 on 4 off  07:00am - 19:00pm 
Location: London Heathrow


What you will be doing

  • Responsible for the planning and organizing of the unloading of all Aero's import from the UK and Europe to Ireland. 
  • Maximize load capacity and schedule and organize drivers and vehicles efficiently to maintain and develop current profit margins. 
  • Create, maintain and forward where necessary all administrative records for cargo importing to Ireland using our in-house computer system. 
  • Fulfil customer demands which can be very testing and changeable 
  • Communicate directly with customers, suppliers and work collaboratively all other internal departments 
  • Flexibility required due to the ever-changing demands of the transport industry and ensure customer expectations are met or exceeded. 
  • Good geographical knowledge of Ireland, the UK and Europe 
  • A patient and considered approach to work in order to manage a dynamic, variable and changing workload 
  • Be able to manage and prioritize workloads in periods of heavy demand


About You
  • Previous  airfreight import experience desirable.
  • Customer focus, Willingness to learn, Effective communicator, Ability to multi – task , Committed to quality
  • Good written and verbal communication skills 
  • Minimum GCSE standard in English and Maths (or equivalent) essential. 
  • Basic level of word and Excel
