Development and delivery of training requirements and plans.
Work across all functional areas to ensure training meets requirements for Other Capabilities including other colleagues in Ground-staff, Engineering, Production Management, Planning, Resource Management and Control functions.
Project management of training workstreams to plan, raise risk, issues, and report on progress.
Development of training methods and materials across multiple roles.
Working with business-as-usual and HR teams to ensure all necessary business considerations are part of decision making and lessons learned.
Create structured training materials, including appropriate Training Needs Analysis (TNA) for learning modules, classroom-based sessions, workshops, and competency assessments.
Ensure training content aligns with industry regulations, safety standards, and best practices.
Track record of facilitating training sessions.
Evaluating training effectiveness and impact, using feedback and performance data to refine training materials.
What are we looking for?
Experience in conducting training needs analysis and designing bespoke training solutions.
Knowledge and experience in developing training packages.
Track record of delivering training projects; on time, to quality specification, within budget.
Proven experience in training development, particularly in rail, logistics, or a similar safety-critical environment.
Knowledge of RBTNA methodologies or similar and processes.
Familiarity with training methodology e.g. Network Rail ADDIE process (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation) and training development frameworks.
Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with the ability to work across multiple teams.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and translate findings into effective training interventions.
Experience and ability in delivering training in various formats (classroom, virtual, e-learning, etc.)
Experience of working within a unionised environment.

This role provides an exciting opportunity to play a vital part in developing training material for all aspects of the business relating to European Rail Traffic Management System (ERTMS) activity.As an ERTMS Training Lead, you will manage the training requirements and training delivery for all roles that sit outside of our Engineering and Operational teams.
