The Role


We are seeking a highly experienced Logistics Supervisor to join our team at our Port Melbourne facility. The position will commence at 5am, Monday to Friday.

Key responsibilities may include:

  • Provide direction and supervision to the team on site, maintain day to day operational standards
  • Liaise with the client and ensure client needs/requirements are met
  • Maintain a thorough knowledge of all contracted deliverable requirements 
  • Ensure orders are dispatched in a timely and accurate manner
  • Ensure all KPIs are met and reporting is completed
  • Ensure Work Health & Safety policies and procedures are implemented, maintained and followed
  • Develop, implement, and review specific procedures to ensure the security of customer inventory and property up to and including hand-over to contracted carriers
  • Assess potential problems areas and co-ordinate solutions, develop and implement strategies to reduce costs and to increase profitable revenue

Competencies and skills required:

  • Extensive experience in the Logistics industry - warehousing, storage and distribution preferably in a 3PL setting.
  • Highly experienced in building and maintaining customer relationships, highly service orientated
  • Good computer skills, including WMS, Word, Excel, Outlook
  • Knowledge of Work Health & Safety legislation and other relevant industry legislation
  • Excellent relationship management and influencing skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
