Specific Accountabilities

  • Increasing and retaining sales revenue and profitability from Field Sales
  • Coordination of all sales measures in the assigned area, which concern the development of the current service offering, as well as the development and implementation of new products
  • Securing of close communication and alignment with Product Management regarding freight rates, market situation and development

Responsibilities

  • Steer and organize all sales activities for Field Sales Accounts across all products
  • Ensure sustainable growth of Field Sales customers in terms of volumes, revenues and GP
  • Derive a business plan / sales plan from sales plan for the assigned area and execute the plan accordingly
  • Steering and coordinating field sales activities (target setting, account planning, alignment regarding use of tools and CRM)
  • Explore and progressively manage new business opportunities and foster cross-selling activities within the country
  • Development of Sales channel strategy according to the size of the customers (Field Sales, Indoor Sales and Sales Support) in alignment with country CCO
  • Ensure cost efficient sales support activities focusing on customer facing activities
  • Define target lists in collaboration with Product Management
  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Post Diploma, Professional Degree, Logistics/Transportation, Business Studies/Administration/Management or equivalent
  • Required Skill(s) : communication skill, negotiation skill, MS Office, MS Powerpoint
  • At least 3 years of working experience in Logistics field is required for this position
  • Preferably Managers specializing in Sales experience in Logistics field
