The role will involve:

We are looking to recruit a talented Auto Electrician with great customer focus, who can deliver fantastic results at our Redcar garage, whilst maintaining the fleet of modern buses.   

  • Experience within motor vehicle engineering
  • Excellent diagnostics skills
  • Familiar with electric and hybrid vehicle maintenance
  • Some basic mechanical work may be involved from time to time

Requirements:

  • Experience with PCV/HGV motor vehicle engineering- both chassis and body systems
  • Possess excellent diagnostic skill; with the drive to learn new skills
  • Be a good communicator
  • Familiarity of the D.V.S.A requirements would be desirable; with the understanding of the need to work to the higher Arriva standards (EQSM)
  • Sound knowledge of PCV/HGV maintenance and hold the relevant qualifications
