For our  project in Bangalore, we are looking for a Structural Engineer with minimum 2+ Years of Experience 


Your Responsibilities :

  • Performing required activities associated with projects (investigation, analysis and design) in line with client and DB specifications/standards and Eurocodes.
  • Preparing and registering all relevant documents and design reports and ensuring that the documentation is correct, accurate and in compliance with DB E&C (Deutsche Bahn Engineering & Consulting) Quality requirements.
  • Contributing to the resolution of technical challenges on projects and providing technical guidance to other team members.
  • The role requires the candidate to work under stressful and challenging tasks.
  • Keeping up to date with innovations and developments.
  • Being familiar and compliant with relevant Health & Safety regulations and to promote a culture of awareness within the team.
  • Preparation of Bill of quantities.
  • Should complete the assigned Task within the allocated Time, Budget and Quality.
  • Independently work on the given tasks with minimal or no support from others.
  • Ability to work in a Team and integrate his/her ideas with that of the Team.
  • Performing other duties and responsibilities as required from time to time by your manager or DB E & C.

Qualification & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering and preferably a Master’s degree in Structural Engineering with a minimum of 2-5 years’ experience in the domain of Bridges. 
  • Knowledge of design of Railway and Road Bridges, Retaining walls for Permanent and Temporary design situations, overhead Catenary & gantries, Tunnels and other important structures for rail infrastructure.
  • All deliverables will be in German. Hence the knowledge of German language would be an added advantage. 
  • Knowledge of design of bridges (steel, concrete (reinforced and Prestressed), Composite to relevant Euro norms & corresponding German National Annex and DB E & C standards.
  • Knowledge of REVIT and AUTOCAD. 
  • Excellent analytical and practical knowledge in the planning of Foundation system such as Flat foundations, Deep Foundations with Piles, Micropiles etc., for Bridges.
  • Working knowledge of structural analysis and design software packages like INFOGRAPH, RSTAB, etc would be an added advantage.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Willingness to shift to Germany on a short-term basis as and when the need arises
