We are currently looking for you to join "Digital Rail Germany" by DB Netz AG in our Digital Base in Berlin.

Your tasks:

  • You will provide technical support for pilot projects for the digitization of the rail system in the area of localization
  • You will maintain a technical overview of the pilot projects (including requirements management, specifications, test strategy planning, etc.)
  • You operate a professional stakeholder management for your projects, both within the group and externally
  • You coordinate technical decisions with subject matter experts and ensure successful implementation in the pilot project
  • You derive requirements for the project from model-based system architectures and communicate these with external parties
  • In the further course of the project, you will accompany the implementation of the requirements in a technical system and test it in well-organized tests 
Your profile:

  • You have successfully completed your studies in engineering, electrical engineering or a comparable technical discipline
  • You have at least 5 years of professional experience as an engineer, ideally in rail environment or other regulated industries
  • Ideally, you are familiar with location sensors (odometry, IMU, GPS) and/or technologies for train end localization and/or train integrity/train completeness control
  • Alternatively, you are familiar with the functional design of CCS systems, such as ETCS and/or LZB/PZB
  • Preferably, you have experience with agile project management methods and successfully applied them to your daily work
