Job description

As a Business Compliance Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring that our organization adheres to relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies. You will play a crucial role in identifying areas of non-compliance related to the procurement process also vendors and suppliers process. This role is responsible for assisting in vendor selection, conducting purchasing activities, reviewing the submitted invoices by the vendor, and ensuring compliance with procurement policies and procedures. developing and implementing compliance programs, and guiding internal stakeholders. Your objective will be to mitigate regulatory risks, maintain ethical standards, and promote a culture of compliance within the organization. 



Responsibilities:



1. Vendor Management:

  • Assist in identifying and evaluating potential vendors and suppliers based on quality, cost, reliability, and other relevant criteria.
  • Support the vendor selection process by collecting and analyzing vendor information, proposals, and quotes.
  • Coordinate with vendors to obtain necessary documentation, such as vendor agreements, insurance certificates, tax forms, and all other required documents.
  • Maintain vendor databases and records, including contact information, contracts, and performance evaluations.


2. Compliance and Documentation:

  • Ensure compliance with procurement policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain accurate procurement records and documentation, including purchase orders, contracts, and vendor communications.
  • Assist in conducting audits and assessments to monitor compliance with procurement guidelines and identify areas for improvement.
  • Support the implementation of procurement software tools or systems to streamline procurement processes and enhance compliance.


3. Relationship Building:

  • Build and maintain positive relationships with vendors, fostering open communication, trust, and collaboration.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for vendor inquiries, escalations, and relationship management.
  • Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders to address procurement needs, resolve issues, and provide updates on vendor performance.
  • Act as a liaison between vendors and internal departments to facilitate smooth procurement operations.
Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Finance, or a related field.
  • Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
  • Previous experience in procurement, vendor management, purchasing, or a related field is preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with procurement software tools or systems.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to resolving issues.
  • Position is for Saudi Nationals only.
