Role Overview:
As the backbone of our data centre operations, you will ensure the smooth functioning of hardware and support our technicians with parts upgrades, troubleshooting, and maintenance. Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and perform hardware upgrades and replacements
- Manage inventory to ensure parts availability and process efficiency
- Maintain detailed documentation and generate insightful reports on maintenance activities
- Uphold stringent compliance with security protocols and quality assurance standards
- Address a variety of ad hoc tasks, maintaining organisational standards within the data centre
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- 1-3 years of experience in data centre operations, preferably with supervisory experience
- Robust IT and computer skills, with hands-on experience in data centre environments
- Strong understanding of WMS systems; experience in a 3PL or technical environment is beneficial
- Excellent problem-solving abilities, detail-oriented, capable of managing multiple tasks
- Superb communication skills and proficiency in English
- Holds a diploma or equivalent in a technical field; additional certifications in IT or computer science are advantageous
- Must be an Australian citizen (essential for security clearance)
