What will you enjoy doing (duties/tasks)

Classification of products, special emphasis on products where Anti-Dumping and Counter Vailing Duties may apply
Respond to trade compliance questions from client’s customs brokerage vendors
Review and monitor all import shipments ensuring documentation is complete, assigned transportation service provider and customs broker process shipment and entry timely so that goods are cleared and delivered according to service level agreement
Conduct post entry audits
Open, Update and Close cases in client’s internal CRM tool
Analyze client’s shipment/entry/product activity and provide reporting, dashboards and graphs as required
Manage special projects as assigned
Develop and maintain SOPs or work instructions

What you need to succeed (Qualifications, experience, skills, attributes

Bachelor's degree and 3-5 years of demonstrated experience in Trade Compliance operations
Knowledge of international shipping and import requirements in different regions
Strong experience working in a collaborative, cross-functional environment, both domestic and international
Action and results oriented, flexible, hardworking, team player and motivator
Must thrive in a fast paced business with frequent and rapid priority changes
Proficiency with Google Suite
Experience working with Global Trade Management (GTM), Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), and Transportation Management Systems (TMS)
