Responsibilities:
- Supervise Telecom technicians to carry out all level of preventive and corrective maintenance of Telecom team.
- Supervise the installation, servicing and repairing of all Telecom equipment’s located at all stations & Depot, along with trackside and on-board trains.
- Ensure the team uses proper hand, machine, electrical and electronic tools and reference to technical drawings, schematics, manuals, procedures, and instructions when performing repair and maintenance work.
- Supervise the replacement of faulty equipment, handover/taken back to the electronics workshop for repair or store.
- Knowledge and competence in technical standards.
- System functional operational check-up monthly like application login session, backup review, authentication.
- Update/track system Authentication.
- Produce and maintain accurate maintenance records of Telecom systems and equipment performance, work accomplished and other information.
- Ensure the maintenance tools and equipment are in good condition are calibrated.
- Assist subordinates with the job familiarization.
- Perform shift and emergency duties when required.
- Perform and carry out duties as instructed/ directed by the Assistant Manager, or Manager (Telecom) higher authority.
Qualifications:
- A degree holder in Electronics Engineering or diploma in electrical, engineering discipline or equivalent.
- Minimum 3 years of work experience in maintaining installation activity in Telecom subsystem in Railway, Metro etc.
- Pro-active and self-starter attitude, confidence, and independence
- Excellent communication, networking, and logical thinking
- Proficiency in English (written and spoken)
- Good knowledge of MS Office application

This 82km long Delhi-Meerut line will consist of 16 RRTS and 6 MRTS stations. This will include developing a local O&M company from scratch to full operations, developing and leading a passionate and performance driven team, steering quality, performance and customer satisfaction as well as ensuring economic success in India
