Logistics Support Coordinator – Land

Job Overview

This position is responsible for providing tactical operations support involving day-to-day operations. This may include (but not limited to) order entry, appointment scheduling, and track and trace support. The work is to be proactive, and one must be able to recognize and provide alerts on potential service gaps.

Full Time – 16.50 an hour

What will you enjoy doing (duties/tasks)

·       Timely order entry and customer delivery appointment scheduling.

·       Customer compliance to defined electronic data interchange (EDI) processes.

·       Carrier compliance to track & trace check calls.

·       Proactive shipment tracking and customer alerts for known anticipated service gaps.

·       Participate in on-call, after hours and weekend duties as determined based on business needs.

·       Ability & willingness to support customer management duties as needed by the business.

·       Ability to effectively communicate with customers, OTR drivers and dispatchers in a professional and constructive manner.

·       WORKING CONDITIONS This position will be required to work in an office environment with moderate noise levels, and, with or without reasonable accommodation is required to: Remain in a stationary position for extended periods of time.

·       Frequently operate a computer for extended periods of time and regularly operate other office productivity machines.

·       Occasionally ascend/descend stairs and move up to 20 pounds of office objects.

·       Frequently communicate with peers, supervisors, third parties, and other employees to exchange accurate information and answer questions.

·       Occasionally attend meetings in buildings outside corporate office and at off-site locations with various internal conditions and requiring travel in various external conditions.

·       High School Diploma or Equivalent
