We are seeking a Project Manager. The position will be based in Lithuania.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop a comprehensive project plan for the design phase.
  • Establish design milestones, deliverables, and timelines.
  • Oversee design activities conducted by a team of designers and engineers.
  • Review design proposals and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders to address design-related issues.
  • Facilitate design meetings and maintain clear communication channels.
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, contractors, and government authorities.
  • Resolve conflicts and ensure effective coordination among stakeholders.
  • Implement quality control procedures for design outputs.
  • Conduct design reviews, inspections, and audits.
  • Address design-related deficiencies and ensure compliance with requirements.
  • Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Monitor progress and implement corrective measures as needed.
  • Anticipate design-related issues and take proactive actions to mitigate them.
  • Manage the design phase budget and allocate resources efficiently.
  • Monitor costs, track expenses, and optimize resource utilization.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of design activities.
  • Prepare regular reports on design milestones, issues, and recommendations.
  • Ensure design activities comply with regulations, standards, and codes.
  • Liaise with regulatory bodies and obtain necessary permits and approvals.
  • Adhere to safety and environmental guidelines.
  • Engage and manage relationships with project stakeholders.
  • Address concerns, provide updates, and incorporate requirements into the design process.
Qualifications:

  • Very good (at least B2 level) English language skills.
  • Professional qualification/education according to the Country`s legislation.
  • Professional level – PMP, PRINCE or other equivalent project management certification.  
  • Experience as a project manager in at least one fully completed railway design project over the last 10 years (2013-2023) covering the following:  
    • design is completed until the date of submission of the Proposal; 
    • 1435 mm gauge and TSI verified railway; 
    • design speed above 200 km/h.
  • Number of projects, compliant with all the requirements indicated above as a minimum requirements.
