Responsibilities:
• Assist the Telecom AM, JE in carrying out all level of preventive and corrective maintenance activities of the Telecom systems.
• Install, service and repair Telecom systems and train control systems located in operations control center, Telecom equipment room, station Telecom equipment rooms, depot Telecom equipment rooms, along trackside and on-board trains.
• Carry out repair and maintenance work with the use of hand, machine, electrical and electronic tools and reference to technical drawings, schematics, manuals, procedures, and instructions.
• Replace faulty Telecom equipment’s, handover/taken back to the electronics workshop for repair or Store for replacement.
• Knowledge and competence in technical standards will be regularly assessed.
• Maintain and update maintenance records of Telecom systems and equipment performance, work accomplished and other relevant documents.
• Ensure the maintenance tools and equipment are maintained in good condition both before and after job activities
• Assist the AM and JE or other technical support staff to implement complex systems or new projects.
• Perform shift and emergency duties when required.
• Perform and carry out duties as instructed/ directed by the JE, AM or Manager higher authority.
• Assist and support to other departments, if requested by valid competent staff.
Qualifications:
• Vocational trade certificate (ITI) or Diploma in electrical, electronics & communication engineering discipline or equivalent.
• Preferred 1 year work experience in Railway system.
• Pro-active and self-starter attitude, confidence, and independence
• Excellent communication, networking, and logical thinking
• Proficiency in English (written and spoken)
• Good knowledge of MS Office application

This 82km long Delhi-Meerut line will consist of 16 RRTS and 6 MRTS stations. This will include developing a local O&M company from scratch to full operations, developing and leading a passionate and performance driven team, steering quality, performance and customer satisfaction as well as ensuring economic success in India.
