We are seeking Telecommunications / CCS / CMMS Expert (f/m/d) as a part of our DB Engineering & Consulting GmbH Branch Office. In your role, you will part of the team responsible for the oversight of a railway rehabilitation and construction supervision of metro rehabilitation/transport projects.

Responsibilities:
- Technical advisory to the client concerning design and implementation of state-of-the-art of telecommunication systems applied in metro/ rail networks (incl. SCADA systems, CCTV Systems, and fiber optic backbone, passenger information system; digital signage system; access control; wireless connections and cyber-security)
- Responsible for preparing technical specifications for telecommunication parts of a design and works tender (according to FIDIC Yellow book, 1999 edition)
- Responsible for preparing/reviewing telecommunication systems’ studies, delivery strategies, tender and design specification, construction methodologies, installation plans, etc. within a railway environment
- Organize and participate in meetings with stakeholders to discuss plans and prepare recommendations in relation to telecommunication works during all stages of the project life cycle
- Liaise with key stakeholders to secure orderly and successful rail signaling systems handover and start of commercial operation, providing ramp-up guidance to train operating company
- Supervise telecommunication systems’ requirement management process to ensure such requirements are floated down to component requirements
- Lead, assist, and participate in site meetings, in internal discussion sessions, telephone conferences, and team meetings
- Review of test instructions and manuals, training plans, O&M manuals and other relevant Contractor’s documents
- Inspect quality of installation work and conformity with design and tender Specifications on site and follow-up of defect removal by the Contractor
- Coordinate testing & commissioning of telecommunication equipment/ systems
- Provide organizational and technical guidance to client’s employees on demand
Qualifications:
- B.Sc. degree in Telecommunications/Electronics & Communications Engineering or similar
- Minimum 8 years of previous professional experience in the design and implementation of telecommunication systems for rail transport
- Minimum 4 years of experience in the organization and supervision of the installation, testing and commissioning of telecommunication and centralized control in metro and other electrified rail transport projects, including SCADA systems; CCTV systems; fibre optic networks; passenger information system; digital signage system; access control; wireless connections and cyber-security
- Proven experience in the organization and supervision of the installation, testing and commissioning of telecommunication systems in a railway environment which includes but is not limited to SCADA systems, CCTV systems and fiber optic networks
- Technical knowledge in design, supply, installation & maintenance of telecommunication systems in rail transport environment including testing & commissioning
- Theoretical and practical knowledge of CCS/CMMS systems, involving migration during operation
- Strong background in coordination of activities with relation to contractor and client interfacing on at least one similar railway/ metro project
- Experience in at least one rehabilitation project of metro telecommunication systems involving migration during operation, as well as theoretical and practical knowledge of CCS/CMMS systems or comparable projects in the Middle East region would be advantage
- Fluent in English and preferably in Arabic, including writing and presenting information in the appropriate formats to various stakeholders
- Experience in working on projects under FIDIC conditions of contract (yellow book, ed. 1999) preferable
- IT Literate and experienced with office applications, e.g., MS Office, Internet Explorer, and MS Share Point Online
- Driving license required to perform assigned duties
