Responsibilities:

• Lead the development of project scopes and detailed requirements to address customer and operational needs in major technical projects.
• Facilitate engagement with stakeholders across various departments to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
• Establish strategic approaches and standards to effectively integrate multiple project activities.
• Oversee technical interfaces and communication protocols to guarantee systems align with RAMS targets.
• Lead the approval process for designs and project documentation to ensure all outputs meet re-quired standards.
• Participate actively in signalling design teams to create and deliver safety-oriented signalling design work.
• Design hardware and data requirements for signalling control systems, including the CBI system and Line Operating Cabinets (LOCs).
• Craft technical documents and specifications required for signalling initiatives.
• Lead and mentor small teams, including junior engineers and technical staff, fostering professional growth and maintaining high technical and safety standards within the signalling system domain.

Qualifications:

• At least 8 years of relevant experience in similar projects, particularly in deploying and integrating new technologies.
• Expertise in managing major SET projects, including scope development and stakeholder engagement across operations, technical, and maintenance departments.
• Ability to develop strategies and standards for project integration and parallel activity management.
• Experience in overseeing SET projects, including option studies, feasibility analyses, detailed design work, and the implementation, testing, and commissioning of new technologies.
• IRSE license preferred, e.g. Signalling Design Verifier or Signalling Team leader
