We are seeking an experienced and skilled local Contracts, Procurement, and Claims Management Specialist (m/f/d) for a Railway Infrastructure Project in Egypt. The Contracts, Procurement, and Claims Management Specialist will manage the administration of FIDIC Conditions of Contract, procurement in accordance with EBRD PP&R, and handle claims management for the railway construction supervision project. The role involves ensuring compliance with international standards and safeguarding the project’s contractual interests.

Responsibilities:
- Contract Administration: Administer the FIDIC Conditions of Contract, ensuring all contract terms are adhered to and managing any amendments or variations that arise.
- Procurement Management: Conduct procurement activities in line with EBRD PP&R guidelines, ensuring transparency, competition, and fairness in the acquisition of goods and services.
- Claims Management: Manage all aspects of claims, including investigation, documentation, negotiation, and resolution, ensuring timely and equitable outcomes.
- Risk Mitigation: Identify contractual risks and develop strategies to mitigate potential disputes and claims, safeguarding the project's interests.
- Stakeholder Coordination: Collaborate with legal, financial, and technical teams to ensure cohesive management of contracts and procurement processes.
- Reporting and Documentation: Prepare detailed reports on contract status, procurement activities, and claims management, maintaining accurate and comprehensive documentation for audit and review purposes.
Qualifications:
We particularly welcome applications from candidates with professional experience in the Egyptian construction sector, including familiarity with local regulations, language, and working culture.
- University degree in Law, Civil Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in contracts and claim management, with at least 3 years specifically in railway infrastructure projects.
- Proven experience with FIDIC contracts and ERDB procurement policies.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and negotiation skills.
- IT and relevant software proficiency.
- Fluency in English, Arabic would be a plus.
