Equipment Control Coordinator
To effectively coordinate equipment going cross border in and out of Mexico. Meet customer availability needs and expectations while growing relationships with carrier partners.
Tasks & Responsibilities:
• Maintain and grow Mexican carrier relations through regular communication
• Manage the utilization of our equipment while in the possession of the Mexican carriers within Mexico borders
• Review carrier’s daily reports
• Assign empty equipment to the carriers
• Track and invoice applicable Mexico detention charges
• Communicate with and provide updates to customers and Mexican carriers through email, phone and meetings
• Coordinate border crossing for customers when required
• Maximize trailer utilization and minimize trailer idle time
Details/Specification/Explanation of the role specific skills: •Ability to speak, write and read in Spanish •High School Degree required •1-3 years experience in Logistics, Customer Service, Transportation and/or Brokerage •Proficiency in Microsoft Office •Effective communication and collaboration
