We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled PMO Manager (m/f/d) for a Technical Advisory project for OSE in Athens, Greece. As a PMO Manager you will provide support to the Program Manager and collaborate with both team members and stakeholders across the organization to ensure successful project operations. Responsibilities:

  • Support the mixed team of Greek nationals and German expats to perform their technical advisory tasks for the final client OSE
  • Ensure project control (monitor status, ensure timely follow-up of issues, and report progress and bottlenecks)
  • Perform document quality control (production and distribution of documents, teamwork scheduling, proof-reading) 
  • Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring alignment with project objectives and financial constraints 
  • Ensure compliance with financial and regulatory requirements in all project control activities
  • Perform risk assessments and develop risk management plans to mitigate project risks
  • Assist in the preparation of progress reports, technical reports and typing deliverables
  • Attend project meetings/workshops to take minutes, collect information and prepare correspondence for participants 
  • Send invitations to project team members, headquarter, partners and other stakeholders
  • Design and edit materials to support within the project’s administrative issues by laying out reports, presentations, agendas, etc.
  • Distribute, coordinate and follow up on work tasks within the project team
  • Support the Program Manager in decision-making by providing timely and accurate project control information


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Engineering, Finance, or a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in project control, cost management, or a related role, preferably within the railway infrastructure sector
  • Proficiency in project control software and tools, such as MS Project, and cost management systems
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and risk management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with project stakeholders
  • Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in work
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Fluency in Greek and English mandatory; German would be an advantage
  • Familiarity with Greek administrative business standard
