We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Program Manager (m/f/d) for a Technical Advisory program for OSE in Athens, Greece. As Program Manager you will be responsible to steer the transformation and advisory program for the Greek Railways in collaboration with both DB E&C team members and the client OSE to ensure successful and sustainable implementation. Your focus will be on ensuring the achievement of the program’s goals and collaboration of the internal stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement and manage a comprehensive, logic linked, program including individual performance management and reporting.
  • Monitor and maintain the program to reflect progress and resource data for internal and external purposes.
  • Identify critical paths and ensure action plans to keep track of the program’s objectives.
  • Report on progress, co-ordinate all functional activities and ensure that problems and bottlenecks are anticipated and resolved in a timely manner to prevent negative impact.
  • Prepare regular reports and feedback to the CTO and Transformation CEO on progress and critical issues.
  • Through active dialogue with both seconded and OSE directors and managers ensure that the program will deliver contractual requirements.
  • Participate in regular program co-ordination meetings and report on the status with specific reference to sourcing, quality, cost and delivery.
  • Ensure all project and operational reports are produced to a high quality and to deadlines.
  • Manage stakeholders at national and international level.
Qualifications:

  • Successfully completed university degree in business, engineering, project management or similar and relevant professional experience in a comparable, complex role.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in similar tasks.
  • Certification in project management such as PMP.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in leadership.
  • You impress with your impartial moderation skills and intercultural sensitivity.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Fluency in English mandatory; German and Greek would be an advantage.
  • Familiarity with Greek administrative business standards.
