For this upcoming project, we are searching for a Project Manager in Vilnius, Lithuania
Responsibilities:
- Project Planning:
- Develop a comprehensive project plan for the design phase.
- Establish design milestones, deliverables, and timelines.
- Design Management:
- Oversee design activities conducted by a team of designers and engineers.
- Review design proposals and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
- Coordinate with stakeholders to address design-related issues.
- Design Coordination:
- Facilitate design meetings and maintain clear communication channels.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, contractors, and government authorities.
- Resolve conflicts and ensure effective coordination among stakeholders.
- Quality Control:
- Implement quality control procedures for design outputs.
- Conduct design reviews, inspections, and audits.
- Address design-related deficiencies and ensure compliance with requirements.
- Risk Management:
- Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.
- Monitor progress and implement corrective measures as needed.
- Anticipate design-related issues and take proactive actions to mitigate them.
- Budget and Resource Management:
- Manage the design phase budget and allocate resources efficiently.
- Monitor costs, track expenses, and optimize resource utilization.
- Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain accurate documentation of design activities.
- Prepare regular reports on design milestones, issues, and recommendations.
- Compliance and Regulatory Requirements:
- Ensure design activities comply with regulations, standards, and codes.
- Liaise with regulatory bodies and obtain necessary permits and approvals.
- Adhere to safety and environmental guidelines.
- Stakeholder Management:
- Engage and manage relationships with project stakeholders.
- Address concerns, provide updates, and incorporate requirements into the design process.
Qualifications:
- Very good (at least B2 level) English language skills.
- Professional qualification/education according to the Country`s legislation.
- Professional level – PMP, PRINCE or other equivalent project management certification.
- Experience as a project manager in at least one fully completed railway design project over the last 10 years (2013-2023) covering the following:
- design is completed until the date of submission of the Proposal;
- 1435 mm gauge and TSI verified railway;
- design speed above 200 km/h.
- Number of projects, compliant with all the requirements indicated above as a minimum requirements.
