Project Manager (f/m/d)
We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled international Project Manager (m/f/d) for a Railway Infrastructure Project in Egypt. The Project Manager will oversee the railway construction supervision project and provide assistance to the Client's Project Implementation Unit (PIU). The role includes ensuring timely, cost-effective execution while delivering technical, financial, environmental, and social support.

Responsibilities:
- Project Planning and Scheduling: Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, resources allocation, and budget management. Ensure project milestones are met efficiently.
- Team Coordination and Leadership: Lead and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, ensuring effective communication and collaboration. Set clear goals and expectations for the project team.
- Quality Assurance: Establish and enforce quality control procedures to ensure all construction activities comply with industry standards and project specifications.
- Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize impact on project delivery, budget, and timelines.
- PIU Assistance: Support the Client's Project Implementation Unit (PIU) with technical, financial, environmental, and social aspects of the project. Provide guidance and resources to facilitate effective project implementation.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Maintain strong relationships with all stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and regulatory bodies. Provide regular updates on project progress and address any concerns.
- Compliance and Safety: Ensure all activities adhere to local regulations and safety standards, promoting a safe working environment for all team members.
Qualifications:
- University degree in Civil Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 15 years of experience in project management, with at least 5 years specifically in railway infrastructure projects.
- Proven experience managing large-scale projects with a focus on construction supervision.
- Professional certification in Project Management, such as PMP (Project Management Professional) from the Project Management Institute (PMI) or similar certifications.
- Demonstrated ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and manage complex projects.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools (e.g. MS Project, Primavera).
- Fluency in English, Arabic would be a plus.
- Willingness to be relocated to Egypt for the duration of the project.
