We are looking for you as a Requirements & Interface Specialist (f/m/x) for an upcoming project of DB International Operations in Canada.


Join us to develop the future of North American rail travel and create a unique lighthouse project. We are looking for transport and mobility enthusiasts with long-standing experience in railway operations and projects in Canada or worldwide to be part of this unique project in case of contract award.


Your Tasks:


  • Take over the responsibility for requirements management and related in a complex infrastructure project.
  • Contribute to successful project delivery by capturing all client requirements, structuring them by function, deliverables, etc. and monitoring them on a daily basis.
  • Engage with all workstreams to check, comply, and track compliance with all project requirements.
  • Maintain procedures for requirements management in order to ensure a robust approach to requirements management within the project.
  • Participate in team meetings and work with Subject Matter Experts to identify and further develop requirements including preparation of summaries and follow-up on corresponding tasks and due dates.
  • Facilitate requirements reviews, keeping accurate notes, ensure requirements, and verification statements meet acceptable standards, support and advance requirements of the requirement tool set across the Team.
  • Coordinate the work with the rest of the consortia partners and act as main point of contact for Requirements Management for the project from an Operation & Maintenance (O&M) perspective including preparation and monitoring of internal, consortia-wide and external tasks.
  • Monitor and report on requirements progress to stakeholders.
  • Develop and implement the overall interface management work with the partners in the consortia.

Qualifications:


  • At least 5 years of Railway industry experience or large linear infrastructure projects required.
  • University or College degree in Engineering, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
  • DOORS experience is an advantage.
  • Experience in requirements management according to industry-standard best practices.
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint and/or MS Project is required.
  • Language skills: Fluent in English and French, including writing and presenting information in the appropriate formats to various stakeholders.
