For our Electrification Project in Tel Aviv, we are looking for a Rolling Stock Maintenance & System Assurance (RAMS) Expert.

Responsibilities:
- Feasibility studies, assessment and evaluation of system variants / concepts and gap analysis in relation to necessary RAMS information
- Risk analysis, including hazard analysis, risk definition, risk assessment, definition of acceptance criteria according to the Common Safety Method (CSM)
- Specify or implement the requirements for the safety, reliability, and availability of the system
- Analysis and optimization of the system design in terms of redundancy, protection devices, diagnostics, and maintainability
- Evaluation of the design by predictions
- Analysis of operations in the case of malfunctions and in emergency situations
- Proof of required safety, reliability, and availability before commissioning (conformity with safety standards and regulations) and from operating experience and/or life tests
- Maintenance planning including LCC
- Ongoing monitoring / FRACAS
- Review of technical documents from consultants and suppliers that have been ordered by the client
- Consultancy of the client, and suppliers ordered by the client
- Technical evaluation of tenders, variations, changes and non-compliances
- Support the client in technical negotiations
Qualifications:
- University degree (B.Sc./M.Sc.) in Electrical or Electro-Mechanical Engineering, Railway Engineering or similar qualification
- At least 6 years of experience in railway projects
- Long standing experience in electrical rolling stock maintenance, overhauls, homologation processes
- Experience in the technical supervision of railway projects with focus on maintenance, procurement & logistics of spare parts etc.
- Familiarity with standardization and norms, incl. European norms (EN, TSI)
- Experience with Bombardier/ALSTOM TRAXX locomotives preferable
- Experience with Siemens Desiro (Double Deck EMU) preferable
- Willingness to re-locate to Israel for at least 2 years
- Excellent English skills
