We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Rolling Stock Manager (m/f/d) for a Technical Advisory project for OSE in Athens, Greece. As Rolling Stock Manager you will be responsible for the railway vehicle leasing business in collaboration with both DB E&C team members and the client OSE to ensure profitable, safe and efficient operation. Your focus will be on improving and developing the current rolling stock business for OSE.

Responsibilities:
- Develop strategies for efficient use of rolling stock leased to the licenced Railway Undertakings in Greece
- Manage and improve the rolling stock asset management system
- Ensure full compatibility of the rolling stock with European requirements such as TSI and ECM
- Steer the acquisition process of new rolling stock
- Develop service products in compliance with European regulations to expand OSE’s rolling stock business profitably
- Analyse and evaluate market needs for the rolling stock leasing business
- Manage stakeholders at national and international level for financing of both rolling stock and rolling stock maintenance facilities
Qualifications:
- Successfully completed university degree in railway or mechanical engineering or similar and relevant professional experience in a comparable, complex role
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in similar tasks
- Additional qualifications in project management.
- Minimum 5 years experience in leadership
- Experience in handling the Fourth Railway Package
- Solid understanding of the fundamentals of railway rolling stock leasing business
- You impress with your impartial moderation skills and intercultural sensitivity
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Fluency in English mandatory; German and Greek would be an advantage
- Familiarity with Greek administrative business standards
