We are now seeking Customer & Product Definition with strong experience in modelling high-speed rail operations and service concepts.

Responsibilities:

Extensive, demonstrable experience in customer and product strategy development within the rail sector—ideally including high-speed rail and fleet operations.
Proven ability to analyse and define market segments, customer needs, and behavioural pat-terns, including working with complex transport and customer data sets.
Strong background in developing customer and product requirements for rail products, ensuring all requirements integrate effectively within operational and maintenance environments.
Highly collaborative, with the capability to engage and coordinate with a wide range of SMEs to provide robust, evidence-based inputs to customer and product definition activities.
Skilled in translating customer insights and market analysis into actionable product strategies, ensuring alignment with broader project, service, and operational objectives.

Qualifications:

Strong professional experience in operational modelling for rail systems (high-speed preferred).
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Transport, or another relevant field.
10+ years’ experience in the rail industry, including substantial experience in high-speed rail or other complex passenger rail systems.
Strong background in customer strategy, product definition, or service design for major transport programs.
Proven ability to analyse customer needs, travel behaviour, and market data to inform product or service requirements.
Good understanding of rail operations, fleets, and maintenance environments, and how these influence customer requirements.
Experience working with large transport datasets and using data-driven insights to shape recommendations.
Comfortable collaborating with engineering, operations, commercial, and customer-experience teams on major projects.
Experience working on large infrastructure or government transport projects (highly regarded).
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present clear and evidence-based recommendations.
Strong ability to operate in fast-paced, multi-stakeholder environments. Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Willingness to relocate to Australia.
