Responsibilities:

Manage and coordinate multidisciplinary design activities throughout project delivery.
Oversee the integration of engineering disciplines to ensure efficient and coordinated design development.
Monitor design progress against project scope, programme, and budget.
Facilitate communication between design teams, project teams, contractors, and clients.
Support technical governance, design assurance, and risk management activities as well as design program, deliverables and change management.
Ensure design deliverables meet project requirements, applicable standards, and client expectations.
Coordinate design reviews, constructability assessments, and value engineering initiatives.
Support procurement, construction, commissioning, and project handover activities where required.
Contribute to project reporting and stakeholder engagement activities.

Qualifications:

Degree in Engineering, Architecture, Design Management, or a related discipline.
Significant experience managing multidisciplinary design delivery, design program, deliverables and change management on infrastructure, transportation, rail, utilities, or major civil engineering projects.
Knowledge of design management processes, requirements management and design assurance/approvals across the project lifecycle.
Familiarity and experience with NEC contracts and collaborative delivery models.
Strong programme, risk, and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to coordinate multiple disciplines and interfaces within complex projects.
Excellent communication and leadership capabilities.
Chartered status or membership of a relevant professional institution is advantageous, but not a must.
Relevant HSE training or site safety certifications are beneficial but can be obtained following discussion with the employer.
