For this BID, we are seeking a Junior PMO Manager as part of DB Engineering & Consulting GmbH, Qatar Branch. The job opening is located in Doha, and offers exciting challenges and potential for career growth.

Responsibilities:

Assist in the implementation and maintenance of PMO policies, standards, and processes in alignment with project and client requirements.
Monitor the progress of project initiatives and support the collection, verification, and analysis of execution data.
Support executing teams in initiative planning, risk identification, and mitigation activities.
Help develop, track, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) in coordination with the PMO team.
Gather and analyse project data to prepare reports for internal and external stakeholders.
Coordinate regular updates with project teams and contribute to the preparation of progress presentations and reports.
Support the Senior PMO Manager in managing stakeholder relationships, including coordination with contractors, consultants, and client representatives.
Participate in risk management and change processes, maintaining accurate logs and documentation.
Facilitate knowledge transfer for ministry staff.
Ensure that all project documentation is regularly updated and compliant with governance standards.
Attend meetings as required, recording minutes and tracking action items for follow-up.

Qualifications:

Master’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, Business Administration, or related field (advanced degrees preferable).
At least 5 years of professional experience, with proven experience in senior roles within the transportation infrastructure of at least 3 years.
Proven track record in delivering at least 2 major railway projects in a similar role (Junior PMO Manager, Project Coordinator or equivalent).
At least 2 years of previous working experience in GCC region (Gulf Cooperation Council) required.
Experience with project management and reporting tools (e.g. MS Project, Primavera, Excel, Power BI).
Strong analytical and organizational skills, with attention to detail.
Ability to collaborate in multicultural teams and communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
Familiarity with international project management standards (e.g. PMI, Prince2) beneficial.
Excellent communication, analytical, and stakeholder management abilities.
Fluency in English; Arabic language skills advantageous.
Willingness to travel as per project/client/company requirements.
