We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Railway Asset Manager (m/f/d) for a Technical Advisory program for OSE in Athens, Greece. As Railway Asset Manager you will be responsible to improve and manage the railway infrastructure operation and maintenance for the Greek Railways in collaboration with both DB E&C team members and the client OSE to ensure profitable, safe and efficient operation. Your focus will be on improving the efficiency and safety of railway operation and maintenance.

Responsibilities:
- Review the current asset management of the Greek railways (OSE, GaiaOSE and ErgOSE)
- Propose an improved, holistic and future proof asset management system aiming at efficiency
- Review, improve and implement infrastructure operation and maintenance plans
- Ensure that network operations control staff are working effectively and focus on maintaining a safe and compliant operation
- Responsibility to achieve the performance targets (KPI) related to efficiency, safety and quality of infrastructure operation and maintenance
- Manage the infrastructure operation
- Comprehensive cooperation with other departments to minimize downtime during construction measures
- Manage timetable and maintenance program review, construction and continuous improvement
- Ensure compliance with European directives and specifications for railway operation and maintenance
- Manage all infrastructure operations control and maintenance activities encompassing:
- Supervisory control of the operational control, traction power electrical and mechanical sys-tems
- Develop and implement first-line responses to concerns regarding the condition of fixed asset
- Manage all matters concerning monitoring and administration of train crew shifts
- Dispatch staff to respond to each incident
- Monitor all station operations areas
- Manage stakeholders at national and international level
Qualifications:
- To be considered for this role, candidates must have prior experience in the railway industry.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in similar tasks
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in leadership
- Successfully completed university degree in railway engineering or similar and relevant professional experience in a comparable, complex role
- You impress with your impartial moderation skills and intercultural sensitivity
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Fluency in English mandatory; German and Greek would be an advantage
- Familiarity with Greek administrative business standards
