For our Electrification Project in Tel Aviv, we are looking for a Rolling Stock Maintenance Passenger & Freight Expert Expert.

Responsibilities:
- Definition and writing specifications for projects/works mentioned below
- Understanding and usage of relevant railway standards TSI, EN. UIC
- Evaluating technical proposals of rolling stock manufacturers
- Technical support for evaluation of malfunctions and Alstom investigations
- Homologation process of Taking new rolling stock to operation (TSI, ASBO, DeBo, NoBo, ISA)
- Review of technical documents from consultants and suppliers that have been ordered by the client
- Consultancy of the client, and suppliers ordered by the client
- Technical evaluation of tenders, variations, changes and non-compliances
- Support the client in technical negotiations
Qualifications:
- University degree (B.Sc./M.Sc.) in Electrical or Electro-Mechanical Engineering, Railway Engineering or similar qualification
- At least 6 years of experience in railway projects
- Long standing experience in rolling stock maintenance, incl. overhauls, homologation, upgrade/ retrofit
- Experience in the technical supervision, maintenance, procurement & repair of passenger coaches and freight wagons
- Familiarity with different technical systems within passenger and freight coaches
- Familiarity with standardization and norms, incl. European norms (EN, TSI)
- Willingness to re-locate to Israel for at least 2 years
- Excellent English skills
