Responsibilities:
- Day to day supervision of construction activities of all discipline-related work
- Ensure compliance with requirements of quality and safety as per contract and work plan, during execution by D&B contractor
- Conduct checks on workmanship and quality of work of Contractors
- Advise construction contractor on the approved format for removal of works & materials not as per specification
- Submit periodic reports, as specified, for the progress of work and unusual features
- Ensure implementation of Project Management Plan by day to day monitoring of quality and progress of construction work by D&B contractors
- Review and verify contractor’s design submissions, drawings, and technical documents for power supply systems (750 V DC third-rail traction and 33 kV auxiliary).
Supervise, inspect, and monitor installation, testing, and commissioning of power supply and associated systems to ensure compliance with contract and standards.
Ensure adherence to safety, quality, and interface requirements in coordination with civil, track, signalling, and rolling stock disciplines.
Participate in factory acceptance tests (FAT), site inspections, and commissioning activities, ensuring conformity with approved designs.
Assist in coordination with the client (MPMRCL), contractors, and design consultants for resolving technical queries and interface issues
- Submit periodic reports, as specified, to PD and Dy. TL concerned
- Qualification: Diploma/Graduate in Electrical Engineering
- Minimum experience : 8+ years for Graduate OR 13+ years for Diploma graduates
- Mandatory requirement - 3 years experience in Metro rail projects
