For a railway infrastructure design project in the Baltics we are searching for a Technical Project Assistance in Riga.
Responsibilities:
- Independently prepare, hold and summarize project status reports to the Client and meetings with the Client.
- Management of/accountable for (define actions, align with PM, delegate and oversee preparation measures and review and present outcomes)
- Stakeholder Management in DPS3,
- Document and CDE Management and quality of deliverables,
- Management of translation tasks and services,
- Management of Utilities subcontractors.
- Support Project Manager with management tasks of the project for
- internal and external reporting,
- schedule management,
- risk management,
- quality management,
- management of meeting preparation,
- commercial and budget control.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field, with relevant work experience in Latvia.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Latvian (native Latvian speaker). Knowledge of German language is an asset.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and extensive experience with ProjectWise, SharePoint, Building Information System (BIS) in Latvia or similar.
- Minimum of 4 years of professional experience in project management within the design and/or construction sector in Latvia, including familiarity with local construction laws and regulations.
- Demonstrated ability to prepare and deliver clear, insightful project reports and documentation.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and committed to ensuring projects are delivered efficiently and accurately.
- Proactive communicator with strong problem-solving skills and high attention to detail.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
