We are seeking a Ticketing Expert - AUB(f/m/d) as a part of our DB Engineering & Consulting GmbH Abu Dhabi. The job opening is in Abu Dhabi, UAE, and offers exciting challenges and potential for career growth.
Responsibilities:
- Lead ticketing system design reviews for compliance. Ensure alignment with requirements, specs, standards, and interfaces
- Coordinate interdisciplinary and interface reviews. Resolve integration with stations, IT, power, and signalling
- Oversee and manage all aspects related to ticketing systems for the High Speed Rail (HSR) project, ensuring integration with other rail systems and compliance with project requirements
- Govern system assurance and RAMS for ticketing. Verify V&V evidence, hazard tracking, and safety case inputs
- Coordinate with contractors, stakeholders, and authorities to ensure ticketing solutions meet operational, safety, and quality standards
- Supervise installation, testing, and commissioning of ticketing subsystems, including quality checks and inspections
- Review and approve design submissions, technical documentation, and interface management plans related to ticketing
- Support the project team in resolving technical issues, preparing technical presentations, and managing stakeholder relations
- Ensure ticketing systems are ready for operation and maintenance, and participate in handover and completion activities
- Maintain updated records and databases for consents, approvals, and permits related to ticketing systems
- University degree (preferably Master’s and/or Chartered Engineer status)
- Minimum 15 years of experience in managing design and/or construction of rail projects
- Experience in delivering High-Speed Rail (HSR) projects is highly mandatory
- Prior experience in the position as Ticketing Expert on at least one comparable project
- Local Experience in Middle East and/or UAE project experience is advantageous
- Fluent in spoken and written English ins mandatory; Arabic language skills would be an advantage
- Strong references and proven track record in ticketing system integration, testing, and commissioning
- Ability to work in multidisciplinary teams and manage complex stakeholder interfaces
