Responsibilities:
- Review transportation system design submissions, drawings, and technical documents to verify compliance with the D&B Contract and Employer Requirements.
- Support systems integration activities across signalling, telecoms, rolling stock, traction power, PSDs, SCADA, depots, and station systems.
- Participate in inspections, installation verification, and quality assurance activities, including review of NCRs and confirmation of corrective actions.
- Assist with testing & commissioning activities such as FAT, SAT, subsystem tests, integration tests, and trial running, verifying system functionality and readiness.
- Monitor system performance and operability against RAMS and operational requirements for automated metro operations.
- Review O&M documentation, method statements, interface control documents, and as‑built records for technical accuracy and completeness.
- Support resolution of system‑level issues by coordinating with PMCM teams, D&B Contractor personnel, system specialists, and O&M representatives.
- Prepare engineering reports, inspection findings, test observations, and progress updates to support PMCM reporting to the Employer.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Railway Engineering, or related discipline, with 10+ years of relevant transportation systems experience
- Experience working on metro or rail projects involving multi‑disciplinary transportation systems and system interfaces.
- Understanding of system integration principles and functional relationships between signalling, telecoms, rolling stock, power, PSDs, and station systems.
- Ability to review engineering documentation, interface drawings, test plans, NCRs, and commissioning records.
- Familiarity with RAMS concepts, safety considerations, and operational requirements for automated metro systems.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills to identify technical issues and support engineering solutions.
- Good communication and coordination skills to work effectively with PMCM teams, contractors, and O&M stakeholders.
- Professional attitude, attention to detail, and adaptability appropriate for a complex, multi‑disciplinary metro infrastructure project.
