VAC - CAD Engineer - Telecom (f/m/d)

The Role - CAD Engineer - Telecom To support designs for International Projects.  

Responsibilities:

• Prepare, modify, and maintain Telecom engineering drawings using AutoCAD and related CAD tools. 
• Create site layouts, equipment installation drawings, fiber routing plans, Tower drawings, and Network infrastructure documentation. 
• Review engineering designs and ensure drawings comply with customer specifications and industry standards. 
• Coordinate with Telecom engineers, project managers, and field teams to incorporate design updates.   
• Produce As-Built drawings and design revisions based on field feedback. 
• Maintain drawing records, project documentation, and revision control processes. 
• Ensure accuracy, quality, and timely completion of deliverables. 
• Support permitting and construction documentation activities when required. 
• Participate in design reviews and resolve drafting-related issues.

Qualifications:

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, Telecommunications, or a related Engineering discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in CAD drafting/design within the Telecom domain.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD 2D drafting, with knowledge of 3D drafting considered an advantage.
• Experience in preparing and reviewing Telecom engineering drawings, layouts, routing plans, and as-built drawings.
• Basic understanding of Telecom systems, fixed and wireless communication, installation concepts, and network infrastructure.
• Strong communication, coordination, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deliver within deadlines.
