For our office in Tashkent (Uzbekistan) we are looking for motivated candidates for the role of Junior Railway Engineer to join our branch in Uzbekistan.

Responsibilities:
- Provide knowledge in railways civil works of railway transport projects
- Provide knowledge in engineering support for railway electrification projects
- Provide knowledge in design of railway infrastructure
- Meet regularly with the Project team to provide project updates / progress and share & follow up on relevant information
- Assist in the preparation of progress reports and typing deliverables in English & Russian
- Support senior engineers and project director in activities related to project management
- Attend project meetings / workshops for technical input and follow up railway engineering work-related matters
- Coordinate activities of Contractors and Clients
- Assist in the preparation of progress reports, technical reports in English and Russian
- Identify contractually required documentation and analyze contractual issues
Qualifications:
- At least Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, preferable with Railway specialization
- Already gained work experience of 1-2 years in the field of transportation projects (internship count as well)
- Hands-on knowledge in the planning, organization, and supervision of Civil Works & Engineering & Railway Design
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Good understanding of technical complexity in the projects
- Proactive attitude and willingness to learn
- Innovative, constantly seeking new ways to do things better
- Works hard and well under pressure, meeting deadlines and anticipating problems and finding customer-oriented solutions
