Patna Metro Rail Construction Project.
For this bid we are seeking an experienced Chief Quality Assurance & Quality Control Expert.
Patna, the capital of Bihar, is one of the oldest cities in the world and is the center of social, cultural, economic and political life of the State. It is an important business center of Eastern India and also a gateway to the Buddhist and Jain pilgrimage centers of Vaishali, Rajgir, Nalanda, Bodhgaya and Pawapuri.
A Comprehensive Mobility Plan (CMP) was prepared in 2018. It identified various short, medium and long-term transport infrastructures in the City. It was recommended to develop a mass transport systems along major travel corridors.
Objective of the consulting services: to achieve the efficient and proper preparation and implementation of the Project through the Review of Bidding Documents, Tender Assistance, Construction supervision, Facilitation of implementation of Environmental Management Plan, Environmental Monitoring Plan, and Resettlement Action Plan, O&M Support, Business Plan Development for Non fare Revenue Box, Modal Integration Support, Regional Development and promotion of TOD, and public awareness for improving the image of public transport.

Responsibilities:
- Assist the Project Manager
- Conduct Interface Meetings for Interface Management among respective disciplines
- Assist PMRCL in resolving various interface issues which can affect JICA funding packages
- Check overall progress of the project and assist PMRCL to take necessary measures for JICA funding packages
- Review of the interface management plan of the respective contractors
Qualifications:
- Graduate in Electronics /Electrical /Mechanical or equivalent Engineering
- 20 years or more experience in infrastructure projects
- 10 years or more experience in metro/rail projects
- At least one metro project experience as System Integration Expert
