The Role
We're excited to invite you to become a key player at our Contract Logistics facility in Auckland. As a Logistics Storeperson, your role is crucial in ensuring our operations run smoothly and efficiently daily. You'll be at the heart of our mission, constantly pushing for improvement and excellence in every task you undertake.
Role Highlights:
- Execute inwards, stock, and order handling tasks with precision and care
- Deliver value-added services to our customers, including re-tagging, labelling, and rework activities
- Foster effective communication with Team Leaders and Supervisors to ensure seamless operations
- Support cross-functional areas, demonstrating flexibility and a collaborative spirit
- Share knowledge and actively contribute to a team environment, aligning with company objectives for collective success
The Ideal Candidate will have the following:
- 2+ years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or freight forwarding
- Excellent customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in warehouse management systems and material handling equipment
- Basic computer skills and a valid Forklift License
- Sound knowledge of OH&S practices
- Eagerness to learn and adapt
