We are seeking a Senior Safety Expert for our Mumbai Metro Project.
Responsibilities:
- Report to the chief safety expert with respect to the all project related work.
- Reviewing the HSE plans of the contractor
- Special attention has to be on the aspect of the works to be done adjoining the running IR system and safety requirement for the passengers and assets.
- Guide the project on correct lines of communication on maintaining and reporting the site levels of conformity of principles.
- Co-ordinate the Safety and Health issues with construction contractors as well as the client and other stake holder and ensure implementation.
- Recommend addition / alteration in safety plan with changes in field conditions or additional plant, machinery or equipment brought for use by construction contractor.
- Train and educate the engineers of the D&B contractor and client on Safety.
Qualifications:
- At least a Bachelor Degree/ Diploma in Engineering
- Minimum experience : 18 years’ for graduates/ 21 years' diploma holders
- Mandatory requirement : 3 years for graduates/ 8 years experience in metro project for diploma holders
