For this project we are seeking a BIM Manager

Responsibilities:
- Act as contact for any BIM related issues between Client and the Supplier / Service Provide
- Leads the BIM Team in the adoption of BIM methodology and collaborative method.
- Attends the recurring BIM meetings with Client BIM specialists.
- Leads, such as the Virtual Design / Construction Reviews, the BIM Strategy & BIM progress meetings.
- Creates the Master Information Delivery Plan with the Project Manager and the Design Manager
- Responsible for ensuring the Project Information Model is compliant to the Client Employers Information Requirements (EIR)
- Responsible for validating the content of the Project Information Model
- Ensuring the quality and accuracy of BIM deliverables
- Ensure that the BIM and CAD Standards have been respected.
- General review of the design.
- Review focused on specific subsection (Interdisciplinary)
- Technical Classifications
- establish QA/QC procedures to ensure the quality and accuracy of BIM deliverables
- Stay updated with the latest trends, technologies, and best practices in the AEC (Architecture, Engineering, and Construction) industry related to BIM
- providing training and support to project team members on BIM tools, processes, and standards
Required Candidate Competencies:
- Technical Requirements
- Proficiency in BIM software platforms such as Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks, or similar collaboration tools
- A strong understanding of BIM standards (such as ISO 19650) and workflows is crucial.
- Expertise in model coordination and clash detection is essential. Oversee clash detection processes, resolve conflicts, and ensure the integrity and accuracy of BIM models throughout the project lifecycle.
- Proficiency in data management and integration is necessary for handling large volumes of data associated with BIM projects. capable of managing project data effectively, including model elements, specifications, schedules, and other relevant information
Qualifications:
- At least a Bachelor Degree in Engineering (or equivalent)
- At least 10 years of professional experience in the railway industry
- Experience as a BIM manager in at least one Infrastructure object (roads or railway) design over the last 10 years (2013-2023) where infrastructure object was not less than 1 km length.
- A business mindset and keen manner, with creative and insightful perceptions
- Fluency in English is required. Other language skills, especially German, are beneficial
