VAC - Planning Engineer (Transport)

Your area of responsibility includes the following tasks: 

Carry out a service delivery in conformity with the order (cost, schedule, quality conformity) 

The planning of track systems, road planning, drainage systems and platforms as well as other traffic systems in the context of new construction, expansion or repair measures in HOAI-Lph 1-7. 

The planning of traffic facilities taking into account the construction status the quality check of planning services. 

An order-compliant preparatory work to obtain public law approvals according to § 18 AEG 

Coordinate by those involved in the planning and coordination with authorities and third parties. 

Contribute when calculating the planning services / preparation of offers in the development of conceptual traffic planning.  Checking the planning results of third parties (internal and external services) with regard to costs, deadlines and quality. Special requirements: 

Interdisciplinary understanding and knowledge of the interrelationships between individual planning in infrastructure projects.  Cultural awareness, conscientious and an open mind and excellent communication skills are essential requirements for the role. 

 Knowledge of dealing with railway regulations, knowledge of planning law according to AEG, level crossing law, HOAI, VOB 

Confident handling of CAD programs (AutoCAD, Civil3D & Provi) 

Confident handling of Office programs (Excel, Word) 

Manage the Roads discipline 3d models, review model quality and technical content including clash detection and compliance with the BIM Execution plan. 

Proficient in additional Autodesk BIM Software: Revit, Navisworks, ReCap and Infraworks. 

Experience implementing and administrating common data environments: Autodesk Vault, MS Teams, Sharepoint, and BIM 360. 

Independent, committed and structured way of working 

Technical) university degree / Bachelor / Master in the field of civil engineering, transport engineering, railway construction or comparable training 

 Experience in the geometric design of railways or highways, planning of traffic systems as well as measures in the railway structure and drainage systems. 

At least 3years experience of working with infrastructure projects and detail design of highways and drainage. 

Civil engineering Hydraulic experience.
